Meditation
The Holy Apostle Paul says that in God we live, move and have our being. Anthony de Mello tells the story of the fish who searched the sea all his life without noticing that he was living in it all the time. Contemplative prayer can be a simple opening of the eyes to this reality. Every fortnight on Sundays at 6pm an open group will meet for silent prayer together, in which there will be nothing to do but to pay kind attention to one's own body, to life, to the presence of God. It is not necessary to "be a believer". The meeting will begin with a short introduction, and then a half hour or so of silent meditation.
