Programs for Schools
Children have always belonged and still belong to Svatá Hora.
Svatá Hora would not even have originated without them: If it weren't for the willingness of a boy who led his blind uncle Jan Procházka by the hand to the then-unknown Svatá Hora, Procházka would not have been healed, and the beautiful complex probably would not have been built. In the program "Touch and Discover," designed for the youngest visitors, various ways are prepared for them to "see through"—to notice the beauty that our ancestors left here for us and for them. These programs are intended not only for schools but also for children's or youth groups. More information and program bookings: proskoly@farnost-svatahora.cz

Easter for Schools

For pupils of Nursery School (MŠ) and 1st–9th grades of Primary School (ZŠ)
Do you know the Easter story? Do you know what "vzít si někoho na paškál" (to take someone to task/to put someone on the carpet) means?
The main goal will be to present to children in a playful and interactive way not only folk customs and traditions, but mainly the Easter story itself, which everyone should know and be aware of, whether believer or non-believer.
In the second part of the program, we have workshops prepared for younger pupils. Here, small visitors will create thematic products with Easter motifs, which they will take home as a souvenir or a small gift for their loved ones.
Older pupils will spend more time engaged with more detailed information about the Lent period and Easter and group work; they will have worksheets prepared for them, which they usually file in their school portfolios.

What we will focus on:

familiarization with cultural customs and traditions

explanation of their meaning and significance

creation of their own product

experiencing the special space of Svatá Hora

discovering the place where we live

Age-appropriate program activities:

Spring is awakening, nature begins to come alive.

Celebrations are opportunities for joy.
