Former parish priest of St. Mary's by the Archbishop of Prague
Mons. Stanislav Pribyl was appointed to the office on 2 February 2026
On Monday, February 2, 2026, at noon, Pope Leo XIV appointed Mons. Stanislav Pribyl, the current Bishop of Litoměřice.

From 1999-2008 he served as parish priest at Svatá Hora near Příbram. In the following year (while still the Provincial Superior of the Redemptorists) he moved to Litoměřice, where he was appointed Bishop of Litoměřice by Mons. Jan Baxant was appointed vicar general.
We will give thanks for this choice and ask for blessings at both Masses on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 (7:00 am and 5:00 pm). At Holy Mountain, he is also expected to be the principal celebrant at the Saturday Mass on February 14, 2026 at 5:00 pm, which he will celebrate for the deceased Redemptorists who would have turned 100 this year.
