Ordering for Programmes for Schools continues

Currently, the "Easter for Schools" programme is almost full, with only a few places left, so if you are interested, we recommend not to delay. However, it is also possible to book other programmes throughout the year, for example the new programme for this school year "Baroque over Příbram", which is intended for grades seven to nine of primary school.

The "Touch and Discover" project is intended for kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and offers children the opportunity to get to know Svatá Hora not only as an important historical and cultural monument, but also as a living place with a deeper spiritual and human dimension. The programmes are based on the principles of experiential learning and active involvement of children. Instead of frontal interpretation, they work with movement, play, story, creative tasks and sensory perception of space.

The offer is adapted to different age groups. Younger children are introduced to the Holy Mountain in a playful and comprehensible way, older pupils discover the history, architecture and symbolism of the site in a broader context, and teenagers are invited to think more deeply about cultural heritage, faith and their place in today's world. The project also includes thematic seasonal programs responding to the course of the liturgical year, such as Advent, Christmas and Easter.

Each program lasts approximately two hours and is led by experienced instructors. Emphasis is placed on age appropriateness of participants, a safe environment, a personal approach, and working with the whole group. The project thus naturally combines education with a powerful experience in the unique setting of a Baroque pilgrimage site.

The programmes have long been met with very positive feedback from schools. Teachers appreciate not only the quality of the content, but also the atmosphere and the approach of the teachers. "We are absolutely delighted. We appreciate very much that we could visit these beautiful premises. At the same time, we would like to highlight the excellent attitude of the guides," says one of the teachers who participated in the programme on Svatá Hora with her class.
