Climb the Svatohorská bell tower
Svatá Hora will participate in the 15th annual "Month of Towers and Lookout Towers"...
On Monday, September 28, 2026, the 15th annual Month of Towers and Lookout Towers begins, which also includes the nationwide event “Day of Towers and Lookout Towers, or The Whole Family Climbs.” Svatá Hora will once again participate in this event and, on this festive day, will offer visitors the opportunity to climb its historic bell tower.
Admission is a symbolic 30 Kč.
During the climb, you can take a close look at the Svatá Hora bells, see how they are arranged, which ones swing and which ones do not, and what notes they are tuned to. Through the bell tower’s shutters, you’ll also enjoy a view of the city of Příbram.
The climb does not take long, but the number of visitors to the bell tower is limited by its capacity. This is not a guided tour.
The bell tower is not wheelchair-accessible —there are approximately thirty wooden, fairly steep steps leading to the top.
Come enjoy this festive day, climb the Svatohorská bell tower, and see its bells up close. The “Month of Towers and Lookout Towers” continues throughout October at other locations across the Czech Republic.
