"Journey" Exhibition by Alena Stiborová
At Svatá Hora through September 20, 2026 ...
An exhibition by artist Alena Stiborová titled “Putování” is currently on view at Svatá Hora, offering a cross-section of her work to date. Visitors can view it in the Summer Choir Room within the Svatá Hora cloisters.
Alena Stiborová was born in Benešov and studied art education at the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. She currently lives and works in Sedlčany. Her work is inspired primarily by landscapes, floral motifs, colorful abstraction, spiritual themes, and naive children’s motifs, which she perceives as a gentle and joyful caress. In addition to painting and other visual art techniques, she also creates pen-and-ink drawings, which she accompanies with poetic texts.
The exhibition “Journey” offers a diverse glimpse into her artistic path and invites visitors to pause, find stillness, and appreciate the beauty in simple motifs and colors.
The exhibition runs through September 20, 2026.
Admission is by donation. Entry to the exhibition is through the cloisters beneath the clock tower; it is open during the information center’s operating hours.
