On Saturday , September 12, Svatá Hora will host the traditional Svatohorská šalmaj, a cultural event featuring historical music, fencing, a period atmosphere, and a program for visitors. The name “šalmaj” refers to a historical wind instrument.
The program will also include the traditional “Firefighters’ Race Up the Svatohorská Stairs,” in which firefighters race up the Svatohorská stairs.

The Svatohorská Pilgrimage Shop will also be open all weekend, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We would also like to remind you that the “Sunday Organ Half-Hour” series continues in August and September. Concerts are held every Sunday in the basilica from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
