Educators meet at the Holy Mountain for a joint pilgrimage

On Saturday, 16 May, the traditional Pilgrimage of Educators will take place at Svatá Hora, intended for teachers, educators, school principals, catechists, students of pedagogical disciplines and all those who participate in the formation of the young generation.
The programme will begin at 10 am with a Mass in the Basilica of the Assumption. The main celebrant will be PaedDr. ICLic. Michal Podzimek, Th.D., Ph.D. from the Technical University of Liberec. The service will be followed by a joint discussion focused on Christianity in pedagogy and the inspiration of Christian values in today's education.
After a short personal free time, which participants can use for refreshments, there will be an opportunity to tour the St. The pilgrimage will end at 2 pm with a common blessing at the Coronation Altar.
Above all, the gathering is intended to be a thank you to all those who are dedicated to the education of young people and an encouragement for their daily ministry.
The programme of the pilgrimage runs from 10am to 2pm and, in addition to the regular 9am Mass, there will be other events during the day at St. Horá - a Mass for people with mental health problems at 5pm, a meeting for young people aged 18 to 26 at 6pm and a concert in the evening at 7pm as part of the Antonín Dvořák Music Festival.
