There will be no meditation in silence

On Sunday, June 21, there will be no contemplative prayer meeting—this is a special exception! Thank you for your understanding.
Contemplative prayer can simply be opening our eyes to God’s presence in our lives. Every fourteen days, an open group gathers here for silent prayer together, during which you need do nothing more than observe your own body, your life, and God’s presence with gentle attention.
The gathering is open to anyone interested— you don’t need to be a believer or have any prior experience with meditation. It begins with a brief introduction and continues with about half an hour of silent meditation, offering a space to quiet the mind, rest, and recharge.
Participants usually meet at 6:00 p.m. in the cloisters near the entrance to the administrative section of Svatá Hora, right next to the gift shop. From there, participants will be led together to the space where the meditation will take place.
We warmly invite everyone who wishes to step away from the daily hustle and bustle, even for a moment, and spend time in silence, focus, and openness to God’s presence.
